Constant Ear Infections, Allergies, and Eczema?

Published by Bonnie on

Does your child suffer from these issues and perhaps a few others? If so, you are certainly not alone. I speak with many parents over and again that list these off as common symptoms in their kids.

In fact, I can hear the conversation:

“Yes, my child has allergies that tend to flare up at different times in the year, and they struggle with some sensitive skin issues.”

Really? Have they ever been on antibiotics at any point?

“Well, yes! They had several ear infections when they were little [or upper respiratory infections] and were hospitalized at one point. Antibiotics was the only way to get it to go away.”

How about steriod use or treatments of any kind?

“We just use a steroid cream for the skin issues.”

Does this conversation sound familiar so far? If it does, you need to keep reading. There is an effective solution for your child that your doctor may not be telling you about.

How Conventional Treatments Keep the Sickness Ball Rolling

The main aim of conventional treatments is management.

Say your child comes down with an ear infection. You head to your pediatrician, and they prescribe an antibiotic.

Bam! The ear infection subsides. Mom and child are happy.

However, due to the antibiotic round, your child’s immune system just became weaker.

How? Antibiotic means literally “anti-life”. It effectively wipes out not just the ear-infection causing bacteria but also the good bacteria “soldiers” that are your child’s first line of defense against foreign invaders.

“But we were told to just eat some good yogurt with probiotics.”

Nope, not gonna work. Those live active cultures have a hard time surviving the stomach acid, and not nearly enough make it down into the gut. The cycle has already begun.

The ear infection eventually returns and the same process begins again. But now, the ear infection is slowly accompanied by other random health symptoms…occasional allergies, skin issues develop, and maybe some stomach sensitivity.

So, the doctor then prescribes specific treatments for allergies–a nasal spray, shots, or something else.

And then a separate treatment for the eczema–steroid creams, cortisone, and a host of other remedies that people recommend.

By this time, your child is on various treatments for seemingly random symptoms, and nothing is getting better.

The Nutritional Approach to The Common Connection

The main aim of the nutritional approach is healing.

Most pediatricians and medical doctors can’t tell you about this option because it is outside their area of expertise.

A yeast overgrowth, called candida albicans, is likely the foundational problem to all of these issues. Yes, the ear infections, allergies and eczema have a common connection.

The Nutritional Approach Involves Three Main Parts

1. Killing the candida yeast with a strong, natural supplementation program.
2. Starving the yeast by omitting sugary or fermented foods and simple carbs.
3. Aiding the healing and detoxification process through supplementation and loading on the fresh vegetables.

This healing process takes weeks–even months–to get completely under control. But the long-term benefit is priceless: No more dealing with random health issues and tons of temporary medical “fixes.”

More kids today are dealing with candida albicans than ever before. The rise alone in allergies, ADD, ear infections, and eczema issues among kids is proof enough that something else is going on here.

Anything you can recommend for a infant with these issues?

Hi Rosa! Thank you for your question. Yes, infants can see a quick turnaround with just a few simple nutritional support pieces. Typically, an infant experiencing these symptoms simply needs their gut microflora put back into balance. Not all probiotics and prebiotics are created equally, however. I recommend looking for one that has both strains of bifidobacterium longum and Lactobacillus acidophilus. These two together can create a wonderful powerhouse of immune support and balance. Be sure your probiotic is also “guaranteed live delivery to the colon.” So many probiotics that are marketed today cannot guarantee live delivery to the lower intestine (where it’s needed most). Call the companies and double check. One that we love and use with our customers is here: https://bit.ly/2HqXEaZ
